VACUUM CHAMBER BRASS FROM 1960

A fine and extremely rare brass, vacuum chamber, HEIGHT 25 cms. In good used condition. Interestingly enough, this apparatus has the name «Fathometer» inscribed on it. The name was patented by Rolex in December 1954 and one can speculate that it was probably destined to be one of the possible names for their sport model that ended of course being the Submariner.
